When I was 9 years old I spent all my savings and then some importing Cinemaware's Defender of the Crown as it wasn't sold for C64 in my country. Dual tapes and loading times that left plenty of time to contemplate life choices - like the fact that with inflation this cost ~$250 in modern money. 🤯

Discrete graphics cards have become so mature and bulky that GPU sag is now a term.
..and modern PC cases now come with crutches to support them.
