Happy Saturday, everyone! For today's edition of Omnivorous I reviewed the third and fourth episodes of King & Conqueror, which I continue to find a really compelling, and very tragic, pierce of period storytelling.

As I continue copyedits for my queer Appalachian romantasy, I continue to fall more and more in love with the cover. It captures so much about what I love about this story: the moodiness, the imminent political violence, the pulsing desire between the two MCs.

I can't wait for release day!

I’ve misssed Elby’s ever since they closed, so I’ll go to a Big Boy any chance I can get. Frisch’s did not disappoint, and the hot fudge cake was a particular delight.

It's here, it's here, it's here! The cover for A Bond of Blood and Stone has arrived, and it's GORGEOUS. I truly love it so much. It captures the broody, steamy energy of the book. And, I mean, just LOOK at it!

It will be available for preorder in November, with a release date of Dec 16, '25.

This little excerpt from my forthcoming queer Appalachian romantasy is one of the best things I've ever written, I think. It sums up so much of what it's like to be Appalachian.
