Moderate, corporate type Democrats are great when the Republican Party is (outwardly) more sane appearing and you have a collapsing home market and an unpopular middle eastern war to campaign against… it feels milquetoast when fighting a rapacious and existential internal threat to democracy.

The right is going to call you pro-trans if you oppose bathroom bills. The left is going to call you anti-trans if you say trans women are men.

Emmanuel explicitly says he wants to shift the topic away from trans rights but he does so in the worst possible way.

The solution is to vocally affirm trans rights and immediately ask why Republicans are so laser-focused on the genitals of 13-year-olds. Don't shit on college students instead!
