Just wrapped the Rockefeller convening on reimagining humanitarian nutrition security. Hard discussions—and urgent ones. With new IHME/Gates data showing child deaths rising for the first time in decades, the stakes couldn’t be clearer. We know what works. We need action.

My thoughts are with all affected by Hurricane Melissa. A colleague in Jamaica told me, “People are scared… memories of Gilbert run deep.” Mercy Corps and our partners are ready with clean water, food, shelter & cash aid.

What’s happening in #Sudan is unbearable. El Fasher’s been under siege for 500+ days. Civilians executed. Millions displaced. Famine spreading. We need urgent action to end attacks on civilians and open access. This is a test of our shared humanity. Every day we delay costs lives.

Women’s bodies are war zones in Sudan, DRC, Haiti and beyond. Yet just 10% of funding to support survivors is provided.

Sexual violence in conflict is not invisible - it is ignored.

Our plea to donors: don’t cut money for survivors of these cowardly, pathetic men.
