Pinned posts? Time for a proper introduction!

I'm T.J., a full-time software engineer who also does a lot of stuff on the side. Anywhere between more webdev, art, gamedev, and so on.
Took this picture the other day and a friend realized the meme potential.

#ACUVAC currently only has about 400 wishlists, which is not enough to get picked up by Steam's algorithm.

With Next Fest coming up, ACUVAC is going to have a playable demo! Hopefully that gives us a much needed push!

Help ACUVAC by wishlisting + following! #indiegames #gamedev

Haven't played Destiny since December, but apparently that isn't enough to stop me getting sucked into the latest community puzzle. They're too much fun.

Congrats to everyone who contributed, be it submitting pieces, helping verify data, or theorizing solutions.

5 years ago I was convinced moving off of my physical (colocated) servers into virtual servers was the play.

Last week I completed moving everything back onto physical hardware, albeit on rented servers so I don't (currently) have the up-front commitment of a hardware purchase.

How things change.

The final #pixelartvent post. All 24 images done!

This is the first time I managed to stick to a daily art challenge (albeit not exactly "daily") and it was a ton of fun!

Woke up with a few hundred lint errors and warnings on one of my repos. Now there are none.

Feels good.

How did you pick your username?

Well TJ is my actual name, and I've liked the number 9 since, like, 2nd grade. There used to be more numbers in there (my age at the time, as well as 2010 aka T=20th letter of the alphabet and J=10th) but I've long since simplified it down.
as a very, very, very young kid (probably too young to actually be on the web), I was browsing The MegaMan Home Page. it was my actual home page.

I uncreatively borrowed the webmaster's name and took it to the SRB2 IRC channel where someone told me it would look better with an X at the end of it.
How did you pick your username?

It's, uh, the name of the site I run.

...

Bye!

Behold: my current D&D character, Ark the Warforged sorcerer.

Started out as pose/anatomy practice (inspired by @galva.bsky.social's art of his OC Maxi), turned into shading practice (never really done metal or cloth in detail or used Photoshop's mixer/"oil" brushes before now).

Did you know: If you prepare an SQL query but never actually execute it, you'll get no results back!

I wanted to post a recent drawing but the thought of it existing alongside all of the cool art I see on here is making me anxious so here's some pixel fonts I've done over the years instead.

Just typed out two full replies to a thread and then didn't post either.

I should just full-send my bad takes...
