Going out for the works Christmas party tonight so my hair is currently in rollers. (Not likley to have any impact. A case of hope over expectation) But I now understand why my gran always had a headscarf. Makes the whole thing much more manageable 👵

Today I paused reading, looked Esme in the eye and uttered the words 'I think the potato is pregnant' Not something I ever expected to say but there you are. (I'm reading a wolf shifter romance. His mate is...a potato shifter. I'm not making it up! The author did that. Its actually heckin sweet)

Can someone please explain how I can go sometimes hundreds of miles to conventions solo but going to the cinema 20mins walk from my house makes me so anxious? I'm still going though. Booked the ticket online so I cant chicken out without losing my money 😆

I won one of prizes in the Wee Con raffle and it included a cross stitch commission from the lovely @fpwoper.bsky.social And isn't he lovely! He's got a nice view of some Eds so I th ok no he's happy 😁

This years book tree is up! Admiring it now before the cats knock it over. Challenged myself to make it from books I read because of OFMD but that were not about pirates. Was easier than I thought 😁 ( the books are listed in the alt text if anyone is interested)

Needed milk. Ended up serotonin shopping. This included accidentally buying the most expensive bunch of flowers Tesco had to offer. No I did not check the price 😬 but the colours made me think of the cute outfit stede wore when he was trying to refloat his boat and therefore gave me joy.

Its been two years since I painted this I think. It still makes me so happy that it turned out how I wanted. I consider myself to have zero artistic talent so the fact its recognisable is crazy to me. Make things! Make you happy.
