Records on the same day recently, both are awesome and really different takes on bringing old folk tunes to the modern era. Possible Humans new one! Perfect jangle jams. And Bel Air Lip Bombs seem huge in the Anglo scene but a blip in the USA. Perfect 90s/indie/punk/classic rock melange

I feel like a lot of people have memoryholed how amazing the new Friendship record is, I come back to it regularly. The Marquee Moon guitars on the new Modern Nature LP makes it a real standout to me, and that one seems quiet as well. Dear Life records put out new ones by Joesph Decosimo and Weirs…

Orcutt/Shelley/Miller putting their first public performance to tape because it was better than what they made in studio. Makaya McCraven editing four different live bands into one coherent four part beauty on ‘Off the Record.’ Or maybe I’m just talking about records I already like? What did I miss?
