I think it should’ve been permanent since he didn’t go back to Nightwing after Bruce’s return. The fact we never seen why he went back makes it feel especially cheap

I also think the foundation, the new identities and the idea of the league denouncing them would create a lot of commentary and reflection on where the YJ gen is nowadays, they thought they’d be the JL but now they’re on the outskirts, forced to pick new names and denounced

The foundation is a team created in rebirth justice league of America, it’s a successor to the weird offshoot league from that run. It operated out of the cave in happy harbour, the same base YJ used
