"Today, this agony etched into his memory seems to thaw, dissolving and melting thanks to the words of his companions"

This is exactly what this seal is about: Helping Phainon START shedding his regrets, but you're-

Like the "first khaslana" corpse, it obviously isn't his real corpse, said body has disappeared long ago, and he's alive as the current Phainon (plus they've always been one from the start)

It's a seal Phainon gave the shape of said corpse to as the metaphor for his regrets

As he is bound to the ruins, you can communicate with him under the right conditions from inside, which influences his emotions and in turn changes the scenery and allows for the seals to be lifted

But you're not LITERALLY dissolving his wishes, regrets, despairs or memories

In other words, everything inside is a metaphor for something: his regrets, his wrath, his sighs, his memories etc.

But they're not the ACTUAL thing either, which is why his bad thoughts can still disrupt the ruins even after the metaphors for it have been "dispelled"

Yeah, and I've just read his text message! It suggests that he can still fly, just like how Mydei can still lift a dromas with one leg, or how Cipher still has her "Trickery voice"

Their curses are gone, but part of their power seems to remain

The use of memoria is also responsible for many of Amphoreus' similarities with penacony

His mind registering everything as "causality" also fully makes sense when remembering that everything is memoria-encrypted in Amphoreus

"Phainon" and "Khaslana" were always each others "past", "present" and "future" all at once

"They"'re bleeding onto each because Phainon is literally living as both, "looping" into both

And as seen at the end of ER1, whichever extrapolation "ends" in the cycle is registered as the past, as the result has been anchored and naturally merges "back" with the ongoing extrapolation

In his case, this is what causes his subconscious memories to manifest in his newest body, and also causes "Khaslana" to feel "Phainon"'s hatred directed towards himself

What is described in his part of AIW describes what Phainon as the Reaver feels during an ongoing cycle

"Isolating" them from the new calculation, but as we already know, there sometimes are leaks

In Phainon's case the leak is more severe, because he's literally going through "both" lives at the same time, the "previous" extrapolation/calculation he went through is still going on

Technically, everything is happening at the same time for Phainon aka NeiKos496, he goes through simultaneous extrapolations every time a new cycle begins
