Republicans mess up because they do a poor job with the farm bill. For one, they're always trying to freeze funding or reduce funding for SNAP benefits and r rolling back legislation that is helpful and non burdensome. These 2 small facts are much more complex but a portion of y rural folks give up

As someone on the left who works in and loves agriculture with a MAS in animal science. It's easy to see that neither party cares for rural America but democrats tend to seem more out of touch with their policies. Directly ignoring that there are industry scientists, they appeal to consumer emotion.
