We don’t spend enough time discussing how the entire MAGA movement is kept afloat by the constant threats of stochastic terrorism orchestrated by the president of the United States.

Congress, the courts, much of the media … all kept in line by the mob boss and his army of anonymous goons.

They are also:

- 98% of presidents

- 90% of billionaires
- 80% of Congress

Forever oppressed.

Well into his second term, the president and his allies have continued aggressively raising money. Many donors have interests before his administration, The Times found.

One hot topic of debate at TPUSA this weekend has been the Israeli attack on the USS Liberty in 1967. If you’re like most normal Americans, you’ve probably never heard of this event. If you are or have ever been a neo-Nazi, then this is an event you know A WHOLE LOT about.

There’s room for somebody on the left to wrap themselves in the flag a little & make a point that the right’s rejection of America as a creedal nation—and their ad hoc, ahistorical effort to make it an ethnonationalist project instead—is distinctly *unamerican,* a rejection of the national project.

In 1993, Trump signed mortgages for 2 homes in Florida, claiming each as his principal residence.
He does not appear to have ever lived in either, let alone used them as a principal residence. They were investment properties & rented out.
Yet he accuses others of fraud?

Yeah this is Border Patrol Laredo outright telling lies. People deported to Honduras under the ACA are just straight-up deported. Honduras claims it might let them apply for asylum *in Honduras* but the BP post is just wild misinformation.
Can someone let BP Laredo know that asylum cooperative agreements don’t let people seek asylum in the U.S. That’s the whole point of them! They are designed to shift responsibility for adjudication to the other country— and only let people seek asylum THERE, ie in Honduras. NOT U.S.

🧵Everyone should know about the "freedom city" in Honduras.

It's another reason Trump pardoned the narco-trafficking ex-president.

That freedom city is called Prospera.

It's a special economic zone founded in Honduras by a bunch of Trump's tech thugs, including Peter Thiel and Marc Andreessen.
Why did Trump pardon the former Honduran president? Follow the Tech Bros.

again, the supreme court did not write the constitution (or the declaration) and—despite what you may think—they don't have the monopoly on the interpretation of those documents.

the people have a say, and if the court is out of step with the people, that's a problem for the court, not the governed
i think to understand the meaning of the birthright citizenship clause to the framers of the 14th amendment, you have to understand significance of dred scott to the civil war republican party. dred scott wasn't just a bad ruling, it was understood as a rejection of the declaration itself.
