Ooph. Baby caught a virus and spent the last night projectile 🤢 all over my hotel room. Got her back to Istanbul and to the hospital for an IV. Wild ride… but the trip was otherwise fantastic.
In Geneva for the weekend - girls trip with an American friend who lives in Istanbul with her 13 month old! Really hoping this goes well so we can do it again 👯♀️🌟✨

It went really well! Going to talk to my husband to see if I can fit this into our schedules - only three hours a week but hard to make a three hour weekly commitment in the baby era.
Trying out a Turkish class taught in Spanish tomorrow - my first Turkish class was taught in German at the Volkshochschule in Berlin. I haven’t used Spanish for a long time so I’m hoping it goes well!

Turns out I dramatically overestimated my ability to do things with a baby 🤣 We only managed to see the friends who were willing to come to us and get about 20 mins walking distance from the apartment.
Anything new in Berlin we should check out this week or anything exciting going on? We’ve got the baby and grandparents with us so we need to be heading home around 6:30pm every day 😰 Daytime Berlin life!

Just arrived at BER and stepped into the baby changing room at the arrival gate - absolutely FOUL. 100% was not expecting that, the room had one of the most disgusting smells I’ve smelled in my life.

One week since going to the hospital and ending up in emergency surgery. Minus one organ and 3kg. Plus a lot of pain and weakness.
I told my husband after I recover I’m spending an hour a day in the gym and we’re spending the next year doing extreme sport adventure travel.
