I run around a bit and attempt to not get booted for insulting terfs.
Was gonna enter the new "original" London marathon event. Mainly as I liked the look of the finisher coin. Saw the price of £80 and the fact I'll just be running along random London roads for the price and used that fee to enter two local trail marathons.

Looks like my stomach is finally over tailwind, it was making me feel sick from the get go on the sdw100. Had to throw in the towel at mile 69. New nutrition search begins.

Need new road shoes, but can't find anything reduced... Do people really pay full RRP for brooks trainers which are around £150!

Gucr going back to downhill for 2026. Guess I'll be going for a place then! As it makes the logistics of getting home actually achievable.

Last-minute marathon entry for two weeks time. Perfectly timed for my sdw100 training plan. The fact I'll get a fry up at the finish is also a bonus!

Took the hiking poles out during my run yesterday, pulled my elbow somehow..... Guess I should really do some upper body exercises instead of just occasionally running.

I'm the horrible parent in the house atm, as I'm the one saying no to getting a dog. Can't face the prospect of another being I need to be responsible for. Especially CBA with more poops!

Parents evening today, and the Sen team have recommended looking for a specialist school for the oldest boy. Can't fault his primary school, they just want what's best for him and have done everything they could. Sad but got to do what's best for him.

Very jealous of everything running through arc, mainly as I just got to run 16mile along Brighton seafront which while was picturesque was all tarmac/concrete.

Seeing the low uptake of the RSV vaccine in pregnant women is infuriating. Can I forward them all the videos and photos of my kids in the hospital sedated and intubated to convince them to get it??

Currently looking at hotels for the night before sdw100. Prices really have skyrocketed since I last ran it! I guess I'll be in my bivvy again this year.
