Equal parts art and affirmation ✨

Working through Drawing on the Right Side of the Brain, and this particular exercise called for drawing upside down in order to quiet the analytic/reasoning brain functions and allow the visual/perceptual to draw line by line with little regard for how the whole "should" turn out. Fascinating!!

This is pre-instruction drawing #1, a self-portrait. I was nervous to document my starting point in this particular journey, but I'm very proud of the result!
