Working through Drawing on the Right Side of the Brain, and this particular exercise called for drawing upside down in order to quiet the analytic/reasoning brain functions and allow the visual/perceptual to draw line by line with little regard for how the whole "should" turn out. Fascinating!!

Being a person with deadly, incurable cancer who is nonetheless still alive for an indefinite timeframe gives me an interesting metaphor that helps me deal with things like large-scale corruption in government or commerce.
