Grabbed these and stuffed them in my bag on the way to the train this morning, intending to wear them at work today. Sigh.
Two right shoes, but with the same swirl pattern in black, tan, and two slightly different browns. The one on the left is obviously older and worn, the one on the right is new.

Ever since summer started, the kittens have been complaining that they're arctic creatures and I do not have the a/c low enough. Today I baked bread, so naturally they felt the need to lay in front of the 475 degree oven

This week's #showmeyourknits is garter stitch, and I have prettier and more useful knits, but one time someone handed me the ugliest acrylic yarn and I said I'm gonna make a tie out of that. People laughed. Well who's laughing now?

For this week's #showmeyourknits I present one of my all-time favorites, a Hitofude cardigan made with Scheepje's Whirl

Chunky knits this week for #showmeyourknits. These are thrummed slippers made from one of my first attempts at handspun. I think this was manx loaghtan. The thrums were from something I didn't enjoy spinning. I'm too lazy to check my notes to find out for sure 🧶

🧶 I like knitting lace, but haven't worked on any in a bit. So for the #showmeyourknits prompt this week, one of my favorites from the past was this chuppah I knit for my sister-in-law's wedding

Time to bid farewell to my favorite pair of #memade pajama pants. They're nearly see-through, the waistband top has been fortified multiple times, the thighs are about to blow out, but pulling them up and having the fabric below the waistband rip apart was the death knell

My first FO of 2025, the Quintessential Fade Wrap by Mary W Martin using the Marianated Yarns HT Gradient in Daquiri. I was going to try to finish this last year, then I figured I would rather start the year with a great finish. This may be my new tradition
