Wine Advent Calendar Day #7 is a red blend from Australia. Predominantly Shiraz and Cab Sauv with a little Merlot, I get lots of blackberry and blueberry. Good tannins from the Cab. Smooth finish from the Merlot. This is a nice one! #WineSky

Advent 2025 Wine Calendar Day #2! Not normally a Chardonnay fan because they can have too much oak, but this one is a little lighter on the oak, which allows the wine's acidity to be showcased. A little creaminess from the vanilla on it. #WineSky

I'm not much of a praying person, but I'm sending up prayers for our beloved Jamaica. Praying for all the people and hoping our many friends there stay safe. It's going to be a long and tough 24 hours or so, and an even longer recovery.

I love making breakfast casserole on Sunday mornings during football season. It's easy to make and then I have leftovers for breakfast before work all week. This is my favorite base recipe. The great thing is you can use any ingredients that you like in it.

Football, pizza and wine club wine! This is a 2022 wine from Jean-Marc Lafont. 100% Gamay. Lots of red fruit. A bit of chocolate and maybe even a touch of vanilla. Very tannic. Deep, dark burgundy color. #WineSky
