Yesterday was a lovely day, prime rib of Irish beef, 90 minutes later it was resting and perfect medium-rare.

Picture taken from behind the pilots of the seaplane as we’re about to land at the island resort of InterContinental Maldives, and so began 2 weeks of living on paradise (no murders occurred).

Nice little breakfast en route to Frankfurt on my favourite inter-European airline, #Lufthansa, this morning, but what’s with the paper napkin 🤷🏻‍♂️

Off to #Japan next March on business, haven’t been since going to the F1 Grand Prix in Suzuka a few years back. Great deal flying out with Swiss return with Lufthansa, hotels booked in #Tokyo and #Kyoto - bringing Mission Control with me this time. Fond memories.

We just haven’t learned, have we. I brought my daughter to Ploegsteert in Belgium where her great-great grandfather is memorialised, his body never found. He died on 11th April 1918.
