Totally! I'm tracking Rudy's work in particular, and slices seems awesome from what I've read.

In a single pull request I was able to transform gath.io (an open source e-vite thing) into AP/Mastodon compatible software. I did this by changing how routes in the webapp responded to certain requests. No new services needed.
