Have you considered making a post about your S1 C port on the Sonic Retro forums? I feel like they'd be super interested in a project like this.

That might work for flatscreen at least. Can't ever lock the camera in VR unless you want to disorient the player.

VR and free-roam are what make Riven's FMV's harder to incorporate into the remake, I've heard. Myst was easier because it was confined to screens and projections. In Riven, they would have to seamlessly integrate 2D video from one angle into the 3D space. Might not look as good as you'd think.

I think what they mean is that they're not going to be hardline anti-AI, so they won't ban sites for using AI.

I can't believe Hasbro invented unicorns around 2600 BC

In the way that people usually think of a Linux distro, Android is a very unusual one at least. Entirely different userspace and tech stack on top of the Linux kernel compared to the usual systemd + Xorg/Wayland + desktop environment, etc.

People really want their bookmarks.

At least those pin comments are sorted to the bottom. After the first one you see, you can safely ignore the rest.

Phones with an OLED screen (very likely on iPhone and upper-end Galaxy) support a wide color gamut, and what the OS tends to do by default is "extend" normal imagery into the wider gamut, making it vibrant. Likely different for every OS, and sometimes you can tweak this in the phone's settings.

Hehe. I grew up in the 90's, and part of the benefit of being on the internet so early on was that I got to see a lot of the early memes. Back in the day, "Don't Copy That Floppy" was meme'd pretty hard.

And here's the inspiration! An anti-piracy rap from the 90's targeted towards kids.

As soon as it is safe for you to so, you should definitely experiment with feminine things! See how it makes you feel. Definitely don't put yourself in harm's way of course, but know that you're not alone in how you feel.

Maybe give yourself creative constraints on your first RPG. Maybe your first thing is "make an RPG with only one screen". Get the basics going first. Get a character moving, then figure out object interaction. Figure out dialogue boxes. Eventually, expanding out beyond one room will feel natural.

So I suppose it's a matter of taste for me. I liked the groundedness of how the show started, but it nearly got too grand for its own good.
Even still, it is a well-made show with a clear vision it sets out to accomplish. I've never seen another thing quite like it. No regrets watching it. 3/

Basically the scope and scale of the show got so grand, it felt like it started to dilute itself with abstract and nebulous godly vibes. It tried a little too hard to appear profound with it, but at least the visuals were great. Artistic direction in general is outstanding in this show. 2/
