Was playing Half-Life 1 earlier. It's funny how, back in that time period, blurry texture filtering was considered groundbreaking and realistic. And now, it just looks like vaseline was smeared on everything because the textures were so low-res.
Looks *far* better with crunchy pixels, imo.

My thoughts on the show overall are complicated. No doubt it is one of the greatest artistic achievements in animation and filmmaking.
What pulled me into S1 was the strong character focus. But as soon as the timey-wimey arcane stuff came up, it almost lost me. 1/

Without spoilers, the best way I can describe the first 1/3rd of Arcane S2 is that it's *viscerally, aggressively artistic*, as much as the first season. It's beautiful, it's messy, it's complicated. And it's pretty good.
