I'm glad that most witches today can openly profess it. There are still many who don't feel safe, worried about getting socially ostracized, or impacted professionally and so keep it quiet. Since I know some of those, and I don't suffer the same risk, it's up to me to speak out and advocate.

Please don't erase that there were and are many people who have a belief system that some churches hate. Some do call themselves witches, they are real, and their belief system is just as valid as any other and no justification for murder. Nice people, into herbs and candles and nice stuff mostly.
