The Royal Family own 250,000 acres including at least 12 grand palaces and large country estates.

Funny. Never seen the Telegraph get sniffy about that. Seems like more of a target.
Daily Telegraph today refers to A Rayner’s property “empire”. Whatever you think of her housing arrangements, I don’t think constituency house (bought for 375k in 2016), house in Hove, plus use of ministerial flat in London is an “empire”. Duke of Westminster wont fear a rival!

“The Food Standards Agency (FSA) estimates that approximately one in 28 people suffer from some form of foodborne illness every year in the UK.

Not great.

But in America, around one in six people experience some form of food poisoning ever year.

Definitely much worse.”
UK-US trade deal: No, the UK population does not want to buy American food
There are currently so many reasons not to go to America – for me, food is at the top of that list

Last week we launched a free webapp that shows the tens of thousands of UK companies whose ownership is being hidden, in most cases unlawfully.

It's now easier to use, faster, and has way more features. Quick thread.

It should be obvious by now that Netanyahu won't stop until every Palestinian in #Gaza (and perhaps the West Bank) has been murdered, maimed or expelled. He wants it all. Governments like ours should cut off all military equipment, diplomatic support and other relations until the genocide ends.

Heathrow hotels quadruple prices as flight cancelled.

Stranded passengers at Sofitel hotel near the airport asked to pay £700 a night for a standard room.

Holiday Inn quadrupled prices.

Capitalists have no ethics/compassion. No regulator would investigate.

Boycott price gougers.
