I came upon a new hazard on the trail today. I think I will turn around and not tempt fate by walking under this damaged tree.

Deer are not an unusual sight when I go walking in our neighborhood, but I couldn’t resist taking a picture since they were so close to the sidewalk.

Today the neighborhood crows came to explore our front yard while I was sitting by the window. I love how they hop between the different levels.

Anyone know what this crop is? We saw several fields of this growing along I-5 in the Willamette Valley in Oregon near where we often see sod farms. It looked like a snow-covered field!

Mount Shasta was topped with a cool little cloud when we were driving up to Oregon last week. I wish I could have gotten a better photo.

The weather got nice and sunny here while we were out of town. It’s amazing how things can grow/bloom in a week!
