Disease is a big part of All Warnings Red; I was inspired by Pathologic & how it keeps you in 6 different chokeholds at once, illness is just 1 of them. Cheap out on rations, drink dirty water, etc and your illness bar will start filling; get sick enough and your friends will start getting sick too

All Warnings Red is based on the cycle between going on missions and downtime, so every player has a faction who is their patron, giving them food, shelter, equipment, etc. in exchange for their service. This can help integrate the players with the world and lets them meet all the cool NPCs u made!
TTRPG worldbuilding thought: Not enough settings provide information on organizations and their place in the culture.

People like joining things, so giving players organizations that their characters can join is valuable. But also having organizations with defined places in the culture (cont)

I thought about if and how I'd add weapon reliability to All Warnings Red; first I had an "Overheat" stat; you'd have to keep track of how many shot's you've fired; it was a pain in the butt and detracted more than it added. Now, every 1 rolled subtracts from your Reliability; gun jams when it=zero

Shopping/Looting in All Warnings Red is a dice-based minigame dependent on your Barter stat, meaning the more skill points you have, the more likely you are to find the stuff you want! This system was built off this WONDERFUL blog post: www.prismaticwasteland.com/blog/shoppin...

Prototype character sheet for my #ttrpg, All Warnings Red! It's now obsolete as mechanics have been added/changed; the SOUL clock is now completely replaced with an Undead Armies-style mental trauma system, the number of skills and skill points have been trimmed slightly, STRESS has been renamed etc
