The generation who marched for Civil Rights and Women’s Rights are pissed about the rollback under Trump!

No Kings in Spokane…tons of people of all ages lining Division Street. Even had our own T-Rexes!

Our first protest today…Spokane showed up huge in support of No Kings Day and Pride!

Beautiful day skiing, then came home and got caught up the days “events.” We need to stay informed and engaged but still find time to do things we love.

Working with a great young skier this week on the fear of riding with another kid on the chairlift…will only ride with me right now. A poignant reminder how hearing about bad things happening to others impacts our ability to grow, learn and push our own boundaries.

Great day skiing with my brother who flew out from Florida. Even in these insane times, stay connected with the people who matter in your life.

Took a young woman I was instructing up higher on the mountain, and she started to have severe anxiety on the way down, despite skiing really well…but with some deep breathing and trust, she made it down and is ready to go again next week. Thinking of her anxiety and persistence in light of today.

Back on the ski hill and taught a couple lessons this weekend…nine year old told me on the chair lift “I’m the athlete of the family” 😂 Kids are awesome!

One of my favorite parts of the season…quiet evening, red wine, peppermint bark and Christmas music. Nice way to end the day…

First day on the slopes…dreary/cloudy below but sunshine up top. One of the coolest feelings is riding a chairlift through the clouds and into the sun.

I think this just about sums it up.
