Going to try and make a post a day, for no real reason.

Yesterday's thoughts: Cavs city jerseys/court combo are bad.
Kansas paying the Hunts 1.8 billion is a terrible move.

Today's thoughts: The Spurs City Edition Jerseys and City Edition court are both 🔥

Insane but true fact: making US roads as safe as Canadian, Australian, or European roads would save more lives than eliminating murder from the US.

Everyone sharp is on Joshua. I don't know enough to lay that long of a price at big size, but at face value it seems like free money. Biggest downside is the % chance the fight is rigged might balance out Joshua's size/skill edge.

www.kcci.com/article/dot-... This is a giant waste of money. The vast majority of traffic through here is at or above the speed limit, we absolutely do not need more lanes through here. @alecdmi.bsky.social do you know who I should be complaining to about this?

Absolute bravery and impeccable self-control after a literal fight for his life to not shoot the newly unarmed attacker with his own gun. To hit the brakes after a "him or me" kind of confrontation like that is a skill I'd wish more law enforcement would learn.
Many of us would, I’m sure, like to think we’d be brave (and smart) enough to do something like this in an absolutely terrifying moment like that. But I can only imagine the mental and physical effects you have to overcome

Intense respect for this man, Ahmed Al Ahmed. An honest to goodness hero.
Independent video (verified by the NYTimes) shows a local Bondi Beach unarmed bystander sneaking up behind one of the gunman today and tackling him to disarm him.

Wolves trading down for cash-only and no future draft assets is frustrating. That's Glen Taylor style cheapness and we were supposed to be through with that!

Think something like this would be really cool in Des Moines!
E-bike rebates might be the most wildly popular local transportation policy in the US.

I visited Denver – the first American city to offer them– to see if reality matches the hype.

TLDR: It mostly does!
