Came here as an alternative to FB. Puns are the way out of our continuous acrimony.
Say what you will about #MLB postseason, they put 4 rounds and 16 teams into a single month and 2 days.

Not sure about the US broadcast but in Canada the #WorldSeries is on Sportsnet Canada, (owned by cable firm Rogers, who also own the Blue Jays). Last night in the middle of the 9th they did not cut to commercial, and instead rolled throughout the break, taking in all the drama of the moment.

#LADodgers win back to back for the first time since 2001! I've watched my team lose and win for years. This was the toughest win and the best postseason I've ever seen.

#BlueJays fans you were amazing all series. It sucks that someone had to lose but you all did your part.

Of course rally hats and wearing your hoodie inside out is a silly superstition with no bearing on the game. But this is what I wore after inning 6. Max Muncy, Miggy Ro, Will Smith, Andy Pages, Mookie Betts, Emmet Sheehan, Blake Snell and Yoshinobu Yamamoto and #LA Dodgers you're welcome.

I agree with the #Sportsnet announcers that whatever the time rules are for Shohei taking the mound, it should be obvious BEFORE the game starts.

Of course, wearing your hoodie inside out is a silly superstition that cannot have any bearing on a baseball game being played 3 time zones away. But this is what I wore for the bottom of the 9th of Game 6. Tyler Glasnow, you are welcome.

#LADodgers got the win over the #BlueJays but both teams were champions tonight. What....a...(Profanity) ...game.

Of course rally hats are a silly superstition that has no effect on the game. So is turning your sweater inside out. But this is what I was wearing when the #LADodgers won in the 18th. Freddie, you are welcome.

Of course rally hats are a silly superstition with no bearing on the game. But this is what I was wearing when Pages broke his bat and Kim scored on a mis-throw. You're welcome #LADodgers.

I'm not usually angry when my team wins, but when I am, it's probably the #LADodgers.

Watching the Dodgers bullpen close a game is like watching a paramedic perform the Heimlich manoeuvre in reverse.

My dishwasher flooded. Several DIY you tube and Reddit searches later still no good. I took it apart and found a ripped tube connecting drain to pump. The replacement tube at the hardware store cost 1% of the price of a new dishwasher.

All the folks sharing the meme about animals never letting the dumbest members lead the group are missing out on lemming metaphors.

What if we did fish tacos, only it was Peking Duck? There is no way I am the first to ask this question.

Padres Dodgers sounded like a postseason game, especially in the 9th. When you get amped up watching it on TV you just know it was a blast in the stands. Also, watching Machado give the ump a piece of his mind should cement mandatory ump cams for eternity.

Obviously, rally hats are a silly superstition with no bearing on the game. But I wore this for the bottom of the 10th. You're welcome, Max Muncy.

The Edmonton Oilers are Canada's remaining Stanley Cup contender. By what is surely a mere coincidence, the Oilers were the only Canadian contender in this round who did not have a player on Team USA in the 4 Nations tournament.

Another sign of the approaching summer is the annual ritual of the Toronto Maple Leafs gutting their fans by getting eliminated from Stanley Cup contention in their typical lackadaisical fashion.

OK Dodgers, you blew a lead, came back and Ohtani just gave you the lead back. Let's not blow it again OK?

Comment on Canadian campaign politics here. Canada's Liberal Party has a strong Bluesky game. They're in it to win it daily. The NDP is basically Charlie Angus and he's not even running this year. The Conservatives, if they know this site exists, seem to be ignoring it. Greens? Anyone?
