Liberal, woke Green/Labour/climate advocate, web guy and Christian in the UK. Would like to see a more generous and equal (but not communist) society.
I find this new branding ... uncomfortable.

Apparently "unacceptable" needs to be in quotes because that's just someone's opinion.

No. Abuse is always unacceptable. It does not need quote marks.

Most icons don't visually indicate the program; they indicate the branding. Firefox is just a fox, nothing to do with web browsing. Bluesky is just a butterfly. And so on. That's normal. The new Word icon has a W on it, anyway, which has been removed (for some reason) in this shared graphic.

That appears to be £19.7m per job. Given that labour costs usually form a high proportion of most project budgets, it seems reasonable to ask in whose pockets most of that money is going to end up.

We all know she knew exactly what she was doing when she wore that hat. She was far too shrewd to have done it by accident.

Google has sent me a touchingly personal feedback request for a case which I raised last Wednesday and which was completely ignored until the weekend, by which time it may be too late.

Agreed.

They did at least post this in their live page at 11.22, but overall their angles are not impressive (and most of the public is more engaged by pictures of sunshine than charts).

We have an "ethical balanced" pension fund. I think some of it must have been invested in Tesla.

Not for long, methinks. Fund managers may be greedy, but they're not stupid.

Petrol cars less than half the total sold last month, for what I believe is the first time; BEV up to 25%; and car sales down overall. More trends like this please! Fewer cars in total, and more of the remainder electric.

Blue areas are "Alternativ für Deutschland". Looks like if Germany had not reuinted, we would have a fascist state between it and Poland.

Fortunately, thanks to the former West Germany retaining some sanity, the fascists can remain solidly out of national government regardless of any gains.

Maybe people in the EU don't buy American products like you mention because they are simply not good enough. You cars are horrifically large and ineffient, and your farm products are contaminated with chemicals. You buy EU things because decent EU regulation means they are of a high standard.

Elon Musk did NOT just "appear to make" those salutes; he made them clearly and with and purpose, and we should confidently report that this is what he did.
