We have been informed that we can have up to 14 items washed for free by the ship's laundry service, so I have promptly submitted a bag of clothing. Bonus!

I’ve been getting a lot of Chinese spam and I know it’s spam for because nobody uses my Mandarin name other than spammers and scammers (and Chinese teachers), and I’m really enjoying saying ‘can you please speak English to me I don’t understand Chinese’ in Mandarin and then hanging up when I […]

Turns out breakfast is half an hour later this morning, so I'm killing time on the pool deck. We're moored next to the silk-weaving village we visited yesterday. Nice morning on the Mekong, cool breeze.

As we're in Phnom Penh now, the boat's chef are laying on a full Cambodian dinner. Entertainingly, for each meal they put a full demo of the dishes (real food, not plastic) on a table outside the dining room.

Here's a pic of some dishes and the menu - what would you choose?

Good article from last year, arguing that the streaming model seems broken - shows get cancelled too quickly for audiences to actually catch up to seeing them, given we don’t have unlimited viewing time. #tv https://www.empireonline.com/tv/features/cancelled-streaming-series-audiences-cant-keep-up/
