Putting my motorcycle to sleep for the winter today. Climbed a mountain with it in 2025 and generally found a hobby that allowed my inner tinker brain to be engaged. Aiming to do a big international trip with my wife someday.

Just took our son to Paw Patrol Christmas at Landmark.

The staff are lovely. One person offered to let us play a Star Wars arcade game for free.

I hope we can figure out how to turn downtown around.

As a parent of a kindergartener who has watched it all up close, what I think would fundamentally help our system identify students needing more support is more support for *teachers*, to give kids actual time and have less to manage.

Several different groups are looking to do roughly the same thing, which is organize neighbours to buy so-called character homes in neighbourhoods to prevent them from being bought, demolished, and the lots redeveloped.
