Sanders: Maybe Angus didn't notice the elections on Tuesday. I thought that they worked pretty well.

In response to this claim that the "strategy didn't work."

The people were on our side. We were building momentum to help save our democracy. We could have won - the premium increase notices were just starting.

And giving in now will embolden him. Things will likely get worse.

Listen Kaine, Hassan, King, Cortez-Masto, Durbin, Shaheen, Rosen, and Fetterman. You're NOT gonna take away my 2025 election joy. We voted in that election for folks to FIGHT for us. That doesn't include YOU.

YOU are what we voted AGAINST last Tuesday. So I'm gonna hang on to that.

Gutted by the Dems caving after the blue-wave wins of last week? Sick & tired of us snatching defeat from the jaws of victory? I hear you! Might I suggest you calm yourself, relax, take a deep, cleansing breath... then see if this photo of 2 pandas cuddling is of any help.

Zero reason to vote for Chuck Schumer and his bitches. We won’t forget their betrayal to the American people. Zero backbone at all. Useless.

Want to know why Dems caved like the feckless incompetents that they are? THE FILIBUSTER. It's all about protecting the filibuster, which Republicans threatened to nuke. But at this point, what's the point in preserving it, if the mere threat of it makes enough of them give Trump what he wants.

Chris Murphy: "There will be pretty substantial damage to a Dem brand that has been rehabilitated if on the heels of an election in which the people told us to keep fighting, we immediately stop... if we surrender without having gotten anything, I worry it'll be hard to get them back up off the mat"

It doesn't actually matter if Chuck Schumer votes for this or not.

If he can't keep his caucus unified to protect healthcare for over 10 million Americans, he should resign as leader.

Disgusted, demoralized and despondent. Democrats held the biggest protest marches in history, swept nearly every toss-up election from coast to coast *this week* and saw the same polling: voters blamed the GOP for the shutdown. They didn't *get* rolled -- they rolled themselves.

Congratulations to all the Democratic candidates who won tonight. It’s a reminder that when we come together around strong, forward-looking leaders who care about the issues that matter, we can win. We’ve still got plenty of work to do, but the future looks a little bit brighter.

Gov. Newsom: It was not just a victory tonight for the Democratic Party. It was a victory for the United States of America, for the people of this country and the principles that our Founding Fathers lived and died for. We're proud here in California to be part of the narrative this evening.

Based on the complete rejection of Trump and the GOP tonight, from Virginia to Georgia to California, I predict the following:

1. Even more House Republicans will announce they are retiring or running for another office.

2. Democrats will flip the House.
OH MY GOD, DDHQ CALLS IT AND DEMS FLIP BOTH STATEWIDE ELECTIONS IN GEORGIA
