Somehow I've watched a 100 years of #DesertBus before I got around to listening to 100 Gecs. Good stuff.

I think I'm gonna make it to 35 books read this year, unlikely maybe 36 if I spend some extra time with this audiobook of A Gentleman in Moscow. Pretty good reading year, especially considering all the untracked technical material I've read.

Got Death Grips back in the gym playlist and somehow I can just lift more.

Finally got to @jeffvandermeer.bsky.social 's Absolution -- loved the original trilogy, loved the new one too. The only problem is I have mismatched cover styles 😩

Somehow I forget how dead boring it is driving through Midwest farmland every time I go visit family.

Adult children do the same for gadgets you bought your non-technical parents.
Parents, remember to update the systems you bought for your family now to save annoyance on Christmas day

Didn't have tornado warnings the week before Christmas on my bingo card.

Four days in a row back in the gym, feeling good so far. The fancy massage chairs are a real motivation helper.

Finally got a new gym membership after my gym closed in 2020, just been using our small home gym setup. Thrilled to find I can still bench 175, if a little sloppy.

Is it just me or does Larry Ellison kinda look like Ricky Bobby's dad?

My wife and I have been playing Super Mario 3D World together which has been a lot of fun, but I can't get the music out of my head to save my life.

Thank you again to everyone out there! Another year down, another million raised, and so many people who will be helped because of what you've done with us this year and every other! We couldn't do this without you, and through all the laughs and the tears, we wouldn't want it any other way...

I haven't listened to a ton of jazz yet, but Kind of Blue is a really great, relaxing album.

I think I've played more new games as they came out this year than maybe any other year. Civ 7, the Oblivion remaster, Silksong, Hades 2, Powerwash Sim 2, maybe some others. Banger year for games for me.
November 2, 2025 at 10:42 PM
Hades 2 continues to be very good! Hit credits last night, looking forward to playing more to unlock all the endgame stuff.

PowerWash Simulator 2 is out so I can finally get back to avoiding my chores by doing my chores!

There is a type of r/custommagic commenter I simply do not understand that will insist wording or abilities aren't right and then reveal they haven't actually looked at a Magic card since Odyssey block or something. #magic

This is also true of your parents, your teacher, your priest, the people on the news or anyone else. Be accountable for the things you think and believe. You're a whole ass person.
I think it's okay to hear opinions from folks and have that Aid in your understanding and appreciation of something.

That being said, if you let anyone of us internet bozos completely form your view on things, you gotta stop brother.

The last 5-10 years of devops have just been people reinventing what was done in the prior 10 years of tech but without having an understanding for the actual underlying context or design decisions that were made, and still thinking that they know and have done better.

I really wonder how Universes Beyond would have been received if it had just been a side product fully compatible with Magic's rules and not put into any formats. I'm no business expert but as a consumer/player I feel like that would have been ideal.

Three episodes into Dan Da Dan and this show is nuts. The title song is a weird banger too.

Tried these out today and they came out great! Very tasty and a mix of textures I found very appealing.

Moist and just sweet enough, Morning Glory are a great "eat in the car" treat.

Last day for Pizzamas stuff!

Here's one of my favorite throw-away jokes in the game. This is an optional thing in one transitionary location BTW. I wrote almost 60(!) pages of jokes for this, many of which are probably just for the DM!
