Woke up early so decided to take an impromptu trip to Elk Island National Park. Saw a number of bison along the roads and had a nice encounter with this coyote who was kind enough not to immediately run away. #wildlife #coyote

Always nice to see a moose while out in the woods. Also a note that wildlife photographers have long lenses that make subjects look much closer than they are. Always wise to give moose a lot of space! #wildlife #moose

While camping this weekend, I had a quick visit from a young Yellow-Bellied Sapsucker, who appeared to dig something to eat out of a tree. #wildlife #birds
