properly pouring down for the first 6km, windy and drab (the weather was), then a 🌈 came out to finish under.

so proud of my RunBuddies Sonya Powley , Imogen Mole and Lora Elizabeth and grateful for their company.

fact is objective information.

opinion is a personal belief

ignorance is a lack of facts and stupidity is rejecting facts in favour of opinions.

sadly, too many politicians and podcasters understand this well and take advantage of stupid people that don't even realise they're stupid.

Kiprun training tonight with negative splits - relatively new to me. pleased with progress.

breathing exercises and work on increasing cadence paying off.

11.3km, 5.48 /km average for steady training.

they wanted reform but;

they're just ex-tories, frauds and fakers

they recycle trump's halfwit ideas

they ban free, open commentary and scrutiny

they have not one policy

they have no members, just subscribers

reform won't be happy until we have no rights and the way is clear for Russian rule

yesterday, no better way to spend a day than a 14.7 mile with Chris Woodhouse from Blakeney out to Blakeney Point and back - including 7 punishing miles of shingle. sunshine, blue skies, crystal clear seas. Chris even had a walk on the moon 😂

"it's your birthday next week, I've planned a run to Blakeney Point. about 7 miles, I reckon..."

cheers Chris for a terrific run under huge Norfolk skies and great company for 15 miles 😂

Royal Norwich Half Marathon this morning. hoping to finish in 2:15-2:30, managed 1:59. so chuffed. smashed my training PB despite the hills being as tough AF

thought we were doing an easy 5 mile as Chris & Rejane are training for a marathon and I wanted to do very easy 10 mins, my half marathon pace (running the Royal Norwich half on Sunday) for 15 mins and finish easy. I can tear up my plan 😅

5km in 25.4 mins - new PB

a jubilant January. RunBuddies (my running club) have been raising donations for Nelson's Journey for our challenge this month and being part of a brilliant group helps no end in smashing my personal demons. I managed 259.13 km or 161.01 miles in 31 days and uncountable laughs too.

another terrific evening run with weather to die for. Norfolk man and proud.

took part in the Reepham X Country (10km) this morning with the RunBuddies and had a blast. several watery/mud-filled obstacles didn't damage our fun but did make us stink.

highly recommend

Google Maps estimated 13.5-14 miles. Set a 150 minute timer and set out. ignored the watch and ran for fun. pleasantly surprised again by results...

moderately easy pace, ignored my watch and just enjoyed a run in the dark. new 10k PB

another day, another half with the Run Buddies Mile Munchers. Cath's first, which made it more cool.

all in all it's been my busiest fortnight for running since the mid-90s and I feel better for it. 120km / 75 miles in two weeks.

lovely walk on the Norfolk Broads National Park on some of the hidden trails near How Hill. I have tiny thumbs (20mm wide), so that deer must have been teeny tiny

took Mist, my super size lurcher, for a wee and noticed my neighbours have a gigantic Yule Pineapple 🍍

today, I ran 17.87km /11.1 miles with the RunBuddies.

I ran 81.5km / 50.6 miles since Dec 22nd (8 days). I ran 180km / 111.8 miles in December.

just two weeks ago, I convinced myself that I wouldn't be ready for a half marathon in February. 3 years ago, I struggled to get upstairs.

second half marathon - 13 mile/21km this week with the RunBuddies Mileage Munchers. Blickling to Felbrigg Hall mainly trail, steady uphill.
