In all seriousness, why does this matter? Is there an industry that waits with baited breath every December to find out what Pantone's colour of the year will be so they can sell shit in *checks notes* white?

In 2026, embrace raucous colours with glee.

"But to call the crime femicide — a sex- or gender-specific term — is in fact a radical rethink in a climate of neutrality that too often masks the disproportionate burden women and girls bear for some forms of male violence."
Why Canada needs to recognize the crime of femicide — on Dec. 6 and beyond
More than 1,100 Canadian women and girls have been killed by men since 2018. So why is the federal government dragging its heels in adding femicide to the Criminal Code?

Spotify wrapped is a great way to talk about digital surveillance with your kids. The fact that it is constantly watching, tracking, and analyzing is pretty creepy.

Plus, the data can be flawed as in our case where Enya was the dominant favorite but only because we play it on repeat for our puppy.

So many people claim to be changemakers and refuse to give up the structural power afforded them by the system they say they want to change.

It's why that bit of jargon makes me so itchy.

The first time I did client work, back in college, they asked me for the invoice and I was panicking because "invoice" sounded so official and surely all kinds of stuff needs to be included. Then it turned out it's literally just a bill.

The moral of the story is, fancy words hide normal things.

Yes, let's become more intertwined with that absolute violent clown show. I hate that polls are predicting another win for this man and his party that just wants to strip Ontario for parts.

this appears to be based entirely on subscriptions for Politico Pro that many govt agencies pay for. but it doesn't matter, this is now fact for roughly half the country for eternity and will be used to do whatever they want.
