It feels pretty festive owning a piece of holiday history. I found a first edition publication (1939) of the poem “Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer.” Rudolph’s origin story is quite sad. Check Wiki, NPR, and Farmer’s Almanac for the background. Most sources don’t capture the full story.
