I don’t suppose for a second you have forgotten!

Ha ha! Yes. Can’t forget them. ARE was where Martin Lynch got started of course.

Blimey, that’s rough. RNLI 200 was pretty major in my book.

Yes! I love my SDRs but they’re not so pleasing to tune around on.

Nice. And special that it was your Dad’s.

Very good Chris! Nice receivers.

Just remembering that the newer rig K6(?) has a problem where you have to press the connector in very hard otherwise it doesn’t connect. Possible?
February 12, 2025 at 8:41 PM
Sorry to hear that Chris. Normally, if it’s Prolific driver problems the rig and computer won’t talk at all. What error are you seeing?
February 11, 2025 at 8:29 PM
Congratulations, Phil! So long and thanks for all the fish is always appropriate!

Look forward to getting you (or your computer!) in the log shortly.

I can point in you in the direction of the firmware on here or by email, no worries.

It’s a Quansheng UV-5K(8) or something very close to that, with different firmware.

John’s loops are great. I have two here.
