Their policy position is "I should be able to take whatever I want, tell whatever story I want about it and be believed, and consign all my critics to silence, prison, and death."

That's *what* they believe, as expressed through statements and action.

We need them as far from power as possible!

I could maybe vend a couple of those, if hard pressed.

If I'm paying out of pocket I have to layer reasons for travel. To justify Metatopia I am giving a talk at a school, meeting with some art galleries, and doing a game store thing. The trip won't pay for itself but I'm getting some academic cv lines and buying 'lottery tickets' for art stuff.

Rad! They're so good for indie game devs!

They're serving themselves and their donors, not just Trump. Trump is giving Republicans exactly what they want, including the dissolution of balanced government.

If normality is reestablished the brave Republicans will blame it all on Trump and Democrats and the well-trained base will believe.

Do you buy from IPR? That's a great place to send indie designers who want to get their stuff into stores.

It's wild that a popular bipartisan childcare bill was vetoed by Nixon and the parties never tried to fix up a new version.

Calling the tattoo anti-Israel and not antisemitic is absolutely fucked.

I'll admit I like the subway car sliding out from behind the corner and eating the guy. That's the sort of nonsense AI does best.

One of my big game realizations is that the games I like are all work to play. You have to be present throughout the whole thing and there's no space for casual socializing.

I'm exhausted and satisfied after a good story game.

I know quite a few committed D&D players who claim or think they want the kind of stuff story games provide but really just want easy spreadsheets to manage while they have their form of a tea party.

Not big enough for the little pork chop.

I like the nascar comparison because it helps me frame one of my concerns about D&D: People who only know (or want) to drive nascar-style sometimes need more guidance than new drivers when they first take a car off the track.

Tactical Breach Wizards is now added to my wishlist.

That trailer is very charming.
