Gilbert AZ. Books and Food.
VERA, OR FAITH is the best book I've read this year. Haven't cried this hard (in a good way) since I read ANNE OF GREEN GABLES 40-some years ago.

One of my favorite poems since childhood, and a poem I share every #autumnequinox.
By the 12thc warrior poet Xin Qiji 辛棄疾, sidelined during peacetime, demoted, drifting through a decade of minor posts in remote lands.
Poetry, then, is that which is left unsaid.
“My, what a cool and lovely autumn.”

“Nobody loved the library more than Dan.”

A meticulous list kept by Dan Pelzer from 1962-2025, cataloging all the books he borrowed and read from the Columbus Metropolitan Library, shared by his daughter.

I could not could not love this more.

Then all the world will scorn us,
And say we had a noble difference,
But base disposers of it.
