I enjoy the small things in life. I spend time teaching, coaching and being a family man. My favorite things are birds, sports and cinnamon buns. I want a place where people respect each other and work together - I promise to do my part.

This is pretty awesome! Whether or not the Jays win or lose the World Series I'm going to make two predictions.

I think the Jays will have set a new precedence with offensive game planning. Small ball, getting on base, making contact will be of more value than the ability to hit the long ball.

Swearing in isn’t some ceremony. You aren’t a member of Congress until it happens. He knows that.

No phones, no staff, nothing.

I had to escort her into the Capitol on Wed bc Capitol police must treat her as a public visitor until she’s sworn in. And solo visitors aren’t allowed during shutdown!
Johnson: "Grijalva should be working for her constituents right now. I don't know what she's doing. I keep seeing their political stunt videos. She should be in her office. She should be working or in the district for her constituents" (Grijalva is not in fact a Rep. b/c Johnson refuses to seat her)

Chris Murphy: "Republicans are boycotting negotiations to reopen the govt bc they're desperate to raise premiums on people by 75% in order to finance their tax cut for the wealthy. The other reason House isn't in town? They're about to have enough votes to mandate the release of the Epstein files."

Talarico: if you read the new testament, Jesus doesn't spend most of his time preaching or teaching or even praying. He spends most of his time healing the sick.

Right now, we have politicians in congress with Christ follower in their Twitter bio, but they are kicking the sick off their health care

AOC: I think there's two things that are happening at once: One, there absolutely is an unprecedented abuse of power, destruction of norms, erosion of our government and our democracy in order to prop up an authoritarian style of governance

However, they are weaker than they look…

I am hoping we can be free of him. What a horrendous human being. I'd like to see humanity take a step forward. Recently there have been too many selfish and destructive steps back.
He won’t let the press anywhere near him. This is getting weirder and weirder.

I find that if some people don't understand how something works, such as a vaccine, it is deemed as "bad". Vaccines keep myself and my family healthy. I trust the science. Why? Because science continually proves what works.
Fact check:

mRNA vaccines for respiratory viruses are meant to prevent severe illness (bad Pneumonia).

This means beefing up our immunity in the *lower* respiratory tract, eg the lungs.

Kennedy talks about the *upper* respiratory tract and vaccine efficacy in nonsensical gibberish.

New in PN: Judge rules that anti-woke is just racism

So proud of Chris Moyah. The video only begins to sum up his great character. Chris is the type to give you the shirt off his back. He cares more about others than himself & he continues his walk to bring awareness to the housing crisis and the mental health and addictions crisis in Saskatoon.

I often think of how long the earth will allow us to sustain current practices as it is clear that taking care of the earth is not a priority for many people.

Unprecedented heat from a future supercontinent formation could lead to a mass extinction of mammals, including humans, in about 250 million years.

It's not a bad idea to go to the local Walmart or big box retailer and buy lots of consumables now. From toothpaste to soap, anything you can find storage space for, buy before they have to replenish inventory.

Even if it's made in the USA , they will jack up the price and blame it on tariffs.
