The two best things about Evanescence are:

1) the “English is not our first language” lyrics, even though English is their first language

2) deciding whether each song is more about a slightly more gothic Twilight-style YA romance with a vampire, or about Jesus.

It is kinda SAVE ME! (Call my name and save me from the dark!)

Alright, I’ll bite. I have read very few comics/graphic novels that I wouldn’t have preferred as a film or a novel. These are some of them

V for Vendetta
Transmetropolitan

Aliens: Book One would totally have been better as a film. Included here out of fond nostalgia.
