Fighting for working people. Mayor. Former House Dem Leader. Labor lawyer. Proud Michigander. Running for Congress in MI-10 to lower costs, raise wages and stand up to billionaires.
It was a beautiful evening in Rochester Hills last night! Thank you to everyone who came out to share their concerns with our country's direction and to hear how I plan to be a fighter for middle class families in Washington!

People don't "get over" not having healthcare. They put off doctor visits, lack access to life saving medicine they need, and die younger than they should. We need new leadership in Washington to end this disgusting, let-them-die agenda.

Today, we protested in Roseville for American values: equality, rule of law, and most of all, democracy. I love our country and today, we embrace a better future for America.

It was a busy couple of days at the Detroit Regional Chamber's policy conference on Mackinac Island, but having my Sweet Potato around always keeps me grounded and productive!

Thankful for everyone in St. Clair Shores who came out for their Memorial Day Parade today. We must always honor those who gave the ultimate sacrifice defending the values we hold dear. Thank you to Senator Kevin Hertel for letting me walk with your crew!

One of my favorite things to do is take Duke out hiking! Michigan has beautiful parks and lakes and we need to do everything we can to ensure they remain that way. Duke will appreciate it and so will our children.

Working Americans are footing the bill for these chaotic tariffs. It must be stopped. I'm ready to go to Washington, put Michiganders first, and end this economic recklessness.

Proud to stand in solidarity with members of Clintondale Education Association and MEA Local 1 as they call for a fair and just contract for their members. My mother was a teacher and proud union member. Her benefits gave me and my brother the stable life every child deserves to have.

As House Democratic Leader, I fought to expand Medicaid to over 650,000 Michiganders. That's why I was proud to rally last night with Sen. Kevin Hertel and Lt. Governor Garlin Gilchrist to save Medicaid from the cruel cuts being proposed. These cuts will kill people. Hands off.

Thank you to UAW Region 1 for putting together the Stand Up for Our Communities and Against Corporate Greed rally today. MI-10 deserves a fighter in DC., not a patsy for billionaires. We must stop these chaotic tariffs on our allies that are idling auto plants and raising prices on working families.

It was great to celebrate Michigan Filipino Unity Day today! Lots of incredible food, entertainment, and friendly faces!

Auto plants are idled and 401ks are down. Yet President Trump is coming to #MI10 to celebrate. I’m glad he’s here. He can see the damage his reckless approach has caused. We will need strong leadership that puts workers first to clean up his mess. That’s what I will do in DC.

As Pope Francis is laid to rest today, I honor him as a leader who emphasized the Church's values of humility, compassion, and the protection of the inherent dignity of every human being. Thank you, Pope Francis, for committing your life to service and love.

I’m proud to have earned endorsements from local leaders in Southeast Michigan. From state legislature to school board, community leaders from all walks of life are coming together to support this campaign. They know in Congress, my sole focus will be on bettering workers' economic well-being.
