Today's Karl Stefanovic suggested to Minns that Muslims who were praying when police dragged them at the Syd Herzog protest might have been "baiting" cops who should have known the footage could be "weaponised" against them.

This is how media enables rather than challenges abuses of power.

When this blows over I might have to share some of the emails I’ve received over the days which really make me wonder why I am the one accused of hatred. There is deep unresolved trauma being spewed by some of these people and we cannot consent to living according to their warped reality.

The new, official U.S. government policy for “merit hiring” prioritizes “patriotism” and “eliminates unnecessary degree requirements”.

The right wing’s attack on all fronts—abortion, LGBTQ+, DEI, immigration, education, public health, etc. is a very effective strategy to divide us all into separate silos to fight, thus weakening our power.

We have got to hang together or we will all hang separately.

NEW on RFK Jr: In audio we uncovered from his radio show he read and praised a description of Trump and his supporters as "belligerent idiots," "outright Nazis," and "cowards" and "bootlickers."

He also compared Trump to Adolf Hitler.

'...ahead of only Australia , Romania & Russia'

Australia, the 'Lucky Country' ranks with Russia and Romania for structural poverty. And with a Labor government too. For shame 😠.
Luxembourg 86% of avg salary
Portugal 75%
France 68%
Germany 56%.
Even USA median-wage workers keep 35%

But in 🇬🇧 ? A measly 12% — the lowest in the developed world. Even if we include housing benefit, the UK still ranks 39th out of 42 rich countries — ahead of only Australia , Romania & Russia
The answer to this headline question turns out to be 'no', in several interesting ways.

Tom Calver has written an informative data-oriented article here, showing how our system compares internationally, and how public opinion is significantly skewed.
