I agree with Mark about how important it is for Bluesky to emerge as an alternative to Twitter.
I honestly think the problem is mostly just the network effect of the political and media elite still being stuck on X. People want to be where other people are.

I want an alternative to Twitter to survive and thrive I think it’s important for BS to grow as a way to offset or diminish the cultural and political impact that Twitter has.

I’m talking about IP address, email, phone number, device identifiers, cookies, browser fingerprint, TLS fingerprint. These are the things mature platforms use to cluster and detect fake accounts and can’t be shared with 3rd parties without really strong contractual protections (if at all).

If @mosseri.bsky.social wants to bring me back to threads as a user , doing lists + starter packs + following feed preference will NOT be enough sadly , there are numerous amounts of UI/UX issues remain to be resolved on that platform,including also doing proper threading,proper media player , etc

Hey , @samuel.bsky.team , @pfrazee.com , @esb.lol , I just wrote something as a test in Arabic and it looks like sentences are to the left and/or adjacent to the center which is WRONG , and it must be all to the right when typing , same thing happens with Hebrew , thanks for the hard work

I don't mind blocking/reporting chuds in the replies. But could we make it so that we can actually block/report the chuds *in* the replies? Having to go to their profile to do it slows the whole thing down. Please @bsky.app @pfrazee.com

BlueSky really needs an option to 'remove a follower' without using the block feature, in my view.
