It should be made very clear to Zelenskyy that he is undermining and jeopardising Ukraine's future tolerating this and the EU should be explicit in that membership will be off the table and allocation of funds not guaranteed until the corruption is notably rooted out as best it can.

It's not. Childcare provisions already exist it would be an expansion, a free bus pilot program was a huge success, rent freezes already existed. Again, a billion for Musk in EV subsidies or billionaires is always fine, spending money on the people is too difficult/expensive.. every single time.

The irony of all this is Reeves/Labour wanted to appease the RW media by promising no tax rises and nodded through the Tories pre-election bribe of £20bn in NI cuts instead of telling the truth about the state of the finances.
