Think she made big miscalculation in not realising from her career output, her core fanbase was women under 35 & LGBT community, the ones who actually defended her when the RW misogynists were attacking her online.

Not surprisingly she has completely alienated the former.

Exactly. We might loathe what Gibb/Davie have turned it into but you have to defend it otherwise all that we are left with is Right Wing billionaire propaganda mouthpieces setting the agenda.

It should be made very clear to Zelenskyy that he is undermining and jeopardising Ukraine's future tolerating this and the EU should be explicit in that membership will be off the table and allocation of funds not guaranteed until the corruption is notably rooted out as best it can.
November 14, 2025 at 11:13 AM
Unfortunately Robbie Gibb is still there, a malignant force inside the BBC who is happy to do the bidding of Trumpian populists. Again Labour, if they had spine, would have cleared house and he would be gone.
November 13, 2025 at 4:22 PM
Very true. Both are spineless, constantly trying to appeal to the hard right and remain despised by these people they keep bending over backwards for.
November 13, 2025 at 4:14 PM
Wayne Couzens, Thomas Cashman, Kyle Clifford, Ian Huntley, Ian Watkins, Eddie Ratcliffe etc. were "UK born"... what voices did they hear?
November 13, 2025 at 11:40 AM
How many homeless veterans does Nick have homed in his property portfolio?
November 13, 2025 at 11:05 AM
Oh yeah because pathetically grovelling on your knees to this fascist oaf definitely will be the end of it... and he certainly doesn't have a history of demanding ever greater concessions when he sees how weak & spineless you are..
November 12, 2025 at 5:56 PM
Smug, ideological centrists do not like hearing "I told you so" by the left or hearing they were wrong. The natural reaction is for them to lash out with these false equivalences and then recline back into their misguided superiority.
November 12, 2025 at 4:13 PM
Nation of servile cucks.
November 11, 2025 at 7:51 PM
The sooner Europe/Ukraine can ween itself off US military equipment the better. Hopefully the SAMP-T NG is up to the task when it's rolled out.
November 11, 2025 at 11:34 AM
JKR is not the sole voice of all women like she thinks she is and has turned into a deranged extremist drunk on attention on Twitter, it's not incumbent of the BBC to give airtime to someone who courts the US RW religious fundamentalists and far right pundits..
November 11, 2025 at 11:15 AM
Also known as the Labour party strategy of desperately trying to appease and placate those who despise and want to destroy you.

The whole BBC board & upper management needs to go but Starmer is so lily-livered in facing down RW populists you just know he'll be bullied and cave in to their demands.
November 10, 2025 at 12:01 PM
I can 100% guarantee he'll Merrick Garland it and cede power to the far right populists thinking he's being reasonable and trying to impress them.
November 10, 2025 at 8:16 AM
It's packed the rafters with people actively trying to destroy at the top. Ex-Tories, GB News affiliates with links to Tufton St should not be running the BBC.
November 10, 2025 at 8:14 AM
It seems like air defence/Patriots are practically useless now against ballistic missiles with Russia able to just fire at will destroying energy infrastructure.
November 10, 2025 at 8:06 AM
Cracks me up seeing the various media presenters spluttering with indignation at the very thought of you not wanting to work with Blue Labour.
November 9, 2025 at 6:22 PM
I believe in a wealth tax, support trade unions, well funded public services, nationalised utilities and am pro-immigration.. I am a centrist.
November 9, 2025 at 4:22 PM
It's not. Childcare provisions already exist it would be an expansion, a free bus pilot program was a huge success, rent freezes already existed. Again, a billion for Musk in EV subsidies or billionaires is always fine, spending money on the people is too difficult/expensive.. every single time.
November 9, 2025 at 12:43 PM
He's basically a RW Sun columnist turned presenter who is unable to even conceal his loathing of anyone to his left in check.
November 9, 2025 at 11:21 AM
He explained it clearly already & it's hardly revolutionary. Expanding upon existing childcare, free buses & building more affordable housing. Tho I'm aware when it comes to Cuomo's $1bn in subsidies for Musk there was money available & when it comes to working ppl it's always "unaffordable".
November 9, 2025 at 11:00 AM
You people will do anything to avoid addressing increasing inequality, child poverty & improving public services so you can keep desperately trying to uphold this failed system.

Shows how out of touch the media establishment & elites are that "stopping boats" is believed to be the No. 1 priority.
November 9, 2025 at 10:12 AM
Yeah, it was so obvious at the time I was astonished Reeves was so eager to support it knowing it was a £20bn unfunded tax cut. They still would have won the election, with a slightly smaller maj. if they were just honest instead of preening to the RW media & it now blowing up in their faces.
November 8, 2025 at 11:47 AM
The irony of all this is Reeves/Labour wanted to appease the RW media by promising no tax rises and nodded through the Tories pre-election bribe of £20bn in NI cuts instead of telling the truth about the state of the finances.
November 8, 2025 at 8:47 AM
This is a great opportunity for Labour to do something very funny and play along, getting rid of the RW Tory goons on the BBC board and bring in someone else far more amenable.
