Yes! The underlying question of what makes our authentic identity and how can we know it is really interesting. And are we really an amalgam of our experiences and if those are wiped out, what are we?

Crawford Lake near Toronto is so deep that the top and bottom layers of water don’t mix. Scientists use a “frozen finger” to bring up sediment and by counting the layers can date their findings including corn pollen from C13th which led to the discovery of an Indigenous village site.
