Pro-democracy, equity for ALL.

MAGA Republicans don’t already hold attitudes that support every wild thing Trump does. They adapt and excuse his behavior as a reaction. Once he’s gone we may see more normalcy.

We are making a weak Russia stronger, and by standing alone, China will soon facilitate the global shift we resisted for decades of cold war with the USSR.

Taylor Swift is more than a celebrity influencer, she is powerful.

Nothing makes America great like gutting and crippling our institutions, then putting incompetent folks in charge of the mess that remains.

Fascism is the vehicle and destination as Trump consolidates power.

A soft coup is still a coup and we still lose our democracy.

It’s a big win for our country that, in one of his final statements, Biden is calling out American oligarchy.

Capitalism has inherent weaknesses, but oligarchy is entirely incompatible with democracy.

Thank you President Biden.

Taylor Swift has donated $10 million to California wildfire relief. In a time filled with hostility, it’s heartening to see how good still begets good through acts of kindness and generosity.

Taylor Swift shows how one person can help create a better world, earning credibility far beyond her celebrity. Most of us don’t have her platform, but our efforts still matter.

In 2025, a year marked by recent violence, let’s set an example that we can achieve good by doing good.

Socialist interventions are needed in any capitalist democracy. The concept of capitalism is, by definition, at odds with the principle of equity.

Trump waited to see if the day’s developments would play out in his favor. He had been anticipating this insurrection. It was not a spontaneous event.

When we consider how capital is used in our economy to enrich the wealthy while workers are paid as little as possible, the term ‘Capitalism’ takes on an inherently dark meaning.

It’s broke and we need to fix it.

Class consciousness within a democracy is a direct threat to oligarchs. The working and middle class majority make up 90% of voters, yet we’re told change is either unproductive or impossible. The truth is, we’ve held the power all along, and it’s time we use it.

Who we vote for matters, it makes a difference. Yet, persistent oligarchical forces exert influence no matter who we elect. The 99% must demand that our leaders confront this imbalance.
January 2, 2025 at 7:52 PM
Oligarchy has so thoroughly displaced democracy in our country that resisting these entrenched forces is now an act of patriotism.

Hi, I’m God.

I support diversity, equity and inclusion.

I do not support uniformity, injustice and segregation.

The ultimate question.

On Jan 21, 2025, who gets to run the @POTUS account here and on twitter:

Just a reminder that in 2019, RFK Jr.'s anti-vaccine misinformation campaign helped cause a measles outbreak in Samoa that killed 83 people, mostly kids.

Do you really want him to lead the Department of Health and Human Services?

Fighting back oligarchy means making room for healthy democracy to reclaim its place.

Thank you BernieSanders!

Elizabeth Warren
“You can only push people so far.”

Deny millions the healthcare they’ve paid for, and deep anger is inevitable. While it doesn’t justify violence, human psychology is clear: years of pain and suffering will push some to react less passively than expected.

There are a slew of issues so deeply entrenched by American oligarchy that no matter how we vote, they remain immune to reform efforts.

When people grow angry about this state of affairs, their frustration is directed at those oligarchic forces—not at democracy itself.

Norms have significant inertia and when we can’t pull them forward, we have to ourselves run ahead.
