Does ‘woke’ just mean anybody whi disagreed with right wing opinions? This is a genuine question. I don’t understand what people mean by ‘woke’. I am a Christian and as far as I can see to be ‘woke’ simply means to take Jesus seriously. Am I wrong?

Have you come upon ‘The Chronicles of Prydain’ by Lloyd Alexander. The first book, The Book of Three, was published in 1964. A marvellous high fantasy series for children to young adults but I devoured it as a full adult when my nephews begged me to read it.
