Restricting unnecessary access to weapons of death is not punishment.
We used to allow handguns in the UK, but following a mass shooting in Hungerford & another some time later in Dunblane they were banned. We’ve had fewer mass shootings in the last 5 years than the US has in a week.

I cycle around 200 miles a year (I’m 68), though that’s partly because I’ve added battery assist.
When I lived in Chelmsford I cycled to work & used to achieve 1500 miles a year, but I was a lot younger then.

For me it’s only PCs running Windoze which need to be rebooted. My phone and tablet almost never need it (and work a lot faster at the same time)

The number of suicides in the UK dropped significantly after the government placed a cap on the number of tablets you could buy at one time. Having fewer guns would result in fewer suicides for the same reason.

I think flip-flop Starmer & Reeves are pretty useless, but they’re still better than Truss & Kwarteng, who didn’t consult the OBR at all.
